Job Housekeeping Attendant 

Job Description

We are looking for Housekeeping Attendant who can provide turndown service for guest rooms and provide a high level of comfort for guests at all times as well as cleaning the Public Areas including Public bathrooms, lobby areas, corridors and all indoor and outdoor areas when required. The successful candidate may also work in the Laundry department assisting with cleaning and sorting laundry for guests and Hotel laundry items.

Responsibilities:

- Cleaning, replenishing, maintaining and preparing guests rooms as per each Hotels standard
- Using and maintaining all chemicals, supplies and equipment carefully and as per each Hotels standard
- Vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning/disinfecting guest bathrooms to a high standard and changing bedding as required
- Replacing towels, soaps and other guest room amenities
- Shampooing carpets and upholstered furniture
- Emptying hotel room garbage bins daily
- Carrying out and complete daily task control sheet as per each Hotels standard/undertaking the sequence of service to clean a Hotel room
- Reporting all malfunctioning tools, incidents and guest room issues to the Supervisor on duty
- Cleaning of all public areas such as windows, corridors, lobby areas, public bathrooms, stairwells, pool areas, and all indoor and outdoor areas
- Washing, drying, pressing, folding, stacking, dry cleaning, finishing, pick-up and delivery, sorting, marking, packing for the guest laundry as well as the hotel linen items
- Handling and storing chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements

Technical

- Chemical and Housekeeping machinery knowledge and experience

Others

- Safe manual handling techniques
- Solid understanding of both the company/client policies and procedures
- Able to speak, read and write in English
